Dr. Mar Mezcua

The aim of her research is to understand how supermassive black holes form and grow and how this growth affects the galaxy itself. To do this, she investigates a wide range of astronomical objects (intermediate-mass black holes, radio jets, ultraluminous X-ray sources, active galactic nuclei, galaxy mergers, supermassive binary black holes) following a multiwavelength approach (radio, optical, infrared, and X-ray observations). For more information see her publications and CV.
