II.1.1 Moment of inertia of a solar model
You will find below the solar model used to produce Figure 1.5 in chapter 1, part II of the class notes. This is a higher resolution version of the model listed in Table 1.1. You need to grab the following files:
- README.txt: Useful hints for numerical integration
- solmod.dat: Formatted data file
The file solmod.dat contains a header explaining what the various columns in the model are. The file README.txt contains some hints on how to do numerical integration.
